Signing in to FUN88, and what to do when it fails

The sign-in sequence, the reasons access usually fails, and how to get back in without waiting for anyone.

Most failed sign-ins are not an outage. They come from the same short list of causes, and this guide works through them in the order worth checking.

The sign-in sequence

Open the log-in page from the control at the top right of any page, or from the bottom bar on a phone. Enter the username and password you set when you registered. If a confirmation step appears, finish it before opening anything else.

The page that gathers all of this is this site's log-in page.

Four reasons access usually fails

1. Caps Lock is on

Passwords are case-sensitive and the field shows nothing but dots, so there is no way to see the mistake. Type the password into the username field first to read it, then clear that field before you submit anything.

2. A saved password that is out of date

If you changed the password and never updated the browser, it will helpfully fill in the old one every single time. Clear both fields completely and type them by hand.

3. A confirmation step on a new device

This is not a fault; it is the safety mechanism working. Complete the confirmation and that device will not ask again next time.

4. The address is not the right one

Check the address in the browser bar before you type anything into a form, particularly if you followed a link from a message you did not ask for. Typing the address yourself, or using a bookmark you created, removes the problem entirely.

Recovering a forgotten password

Use the password recovery step and confirm through the contact channel attached to the account. If that fails because the number or address has changed since, contact the team with something that identifies you — the channels are on the contact page.

Four habits that help immediately

  • Use a password you use nowhere else, so a breach somewhere else is not a breach here.
  • Nobody from the team will ever ask for your password. Anyone who does is not the team.
  • Sign out when you have been using a device that is not yours.
  • Never sign in through a link in an unsolicited message. Type the address yourself.
